Can I use these caption prompts and templates outside of Instagram?
Your templates have been written primarily for Instagram posts, following our Caption Cocktail formula. But the caption prompts can absolutely be used for Instagram Stories, Reels or TikToks, and even newsletters, blogs or Facebook posts. The Trello board even includes color-coded tags to keep track of your different platforms.
I don’t want to sound super ‘salesy’ – will this kit help with that?
The trick is to build excitement for your book while you’re still writing so that when it’s published, you won’t have to ‘sell’ because your readers will already be desperate to buy! That’s why there is a whole section in your kit devoted to fun and creative ways to talk about your book without ‘selling’ it.
How will this kit help me build relationships with my readers?
It’s important for readers to feel like they know the real person behind the books, so your prompts focus on fun and natural ways to give them a glimpse behind the scenes of your life, share personal insights and start conversations with techniques like easy-to-answer questions, controversial topics, shout outs and requests for recommendations.
Are these templates suitable for the level of ‘spice’ in my books?
For sure. I have been very careful to give you options in every caption template so whether you write sweet or spicy romance, you can adapt the caption to be appropriate for your books and your readers.
If I use fill-in-the-blank templates, won’t my captions sound impersonal and generic?
Each template includes so many customization options that no two captions could possibly be the same. Plus, I’ve included a bonus mini training on how to write captions that sound like you (and no one else) AND you get 10 pages of word swap ideas – so every caption is as unique as you are.
What if I’d rather not have fill-in-the-blank templates?
Then the more general caption prompts are perfect for you. However, if you ever suffer from blank page syndrome, looking at the templates purely as examples of what’s possible might just inspire you!
I am not tech savvy at all… is this kit hard to use?
Not at all. Whether you prefer to print out your prompts or you want the full Trello experience, I have included step-by-step instructions for the format of your choice. And you can always message me with questions.
How long will I have access to my caption kit?
Once you download your PDF or make a copy of your Trello board or Google doc, your prompts are yours forever! And the really cool thing is that although this kit already contains 150 prompts, you can use most of them multiple times, in different ways. So you can actually create waaaay more than 150 captions.
Do you offer refunds?
As this is a digital product with opportunities to download all your content, you can't ‘return' your caption kit so I'm sure you can understand why I can't offer refunds. But if you have any difficulties or questions about how to use your kit, I am always available to help!
